I now run a kitchen team making in excess of 4.6mil in food turnover.
Long way from a kid that was an average student.. Still love Rocky High and still catch up with my old school friends
I enjoyed my highschool years and after graduating year 12 I went to Emerald Agricultural College. I met my husband there in my second year, we got married in 1998 had three boys then I decided to go to uni to become a nurse. I finished my nursing and specialised in trauma and emergency nursing. I had my fourth son in 2014 and a few years later I changed from Emergency nursing to Cardiac nursing. I have reflected more on my highschool years as my kids go through high school. I really miss the big band and musical side of things. My husband and I live 2 hours away from Rocky on our cattle property but I stay in Rocky for work at the Rockhampton hospital.
Rocky High was a great school. Got along with most of the teachers and staff alike. Was a great distraction from home where my mother had cancer for most of my high school years, unfortunately mum lost the battle just after i finished year 12... Then after that i went on and lived in the UK for 5 years before returning to Rocky.
