1989 Alumni

I started my teaching career at Rockhampton High in 1979 (then Julie Heilig) and returned at the beginning of 1985 after 4 years’ country service in Theodore, until the birth of our first daughter in 1989.

My favourite subject was accounting with Miss Spreadborough and she told me I had to become an accountant. Today I own my own firm. She was my inspiration. My Aunt Pam Burke was also Senior Mistress of Rocky High before moving to Brisbane.
