Marilyn Sue Dooley
Marilyn Sue Dooley attended both junior {Bolsover Street} and senior years {Wandal} at Rockhampton High School. She is a graduate of The Australian National University in Canberra where she has lived mostly from 1965 to the present day. She has been a public servant, teacher of ancient history, media and theater studies, a theater producer and a film archivist, specializing in early Australian Film History and silent film on video reconstructions . Since retirement, she has been an independent scholar and historian, researching, writing, publishing and giving talks/conference papers on family history and the history and heritage of Chinese in Central Queensland.
Marilyn travels in Australia and abroad to Ireland, Greece and China.

After Grade 8 at Allenstown State School, I started at RSHS just after it moved to its current location. After Senior I went to the Royal Military College Duntroon and subsequently spent a further 17 years in the army, resigning as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1986 and commencing a new career in Investment Banking. I have since worked in aged care and as an Adviser to Federal Government Ministers.
